ROOTS


As a child, a portrait of a young woman in local attire hung on the wall of our house. Her colorful embroidered apron, her sequined headdress… At the age of 5 or 6, I didn’t yet know that our glances at her would be the incubator of my love and interest in ethnic elements. Ethnic groups have expressed their feelings, thoughts, and prayers through symbols; through the embroidery on their tools and equipment, their rituals, textiles, and jewelry. These are awe-inspiring artistic expressions that reflect their unity with the nature around them and their tribes. Even in the most challenging conditions, the fire of life burning within humanity manifests itself in these phenomena.


I am happy to share this vibrant collection, filled with beads, tassels, and colors, as a reflection of the love that has formed in my soul and the images that have accumulated in my mind since childhood.
